Samuel Lay |
Samuel Lay is a life-long resident of Norcross, a Georgia State Licensed Funeral Service Apprentice, a 2007 graduate of Norcross High School. Sam also is involved with many events in the community of Norcross. Sam enjoys time spent with family and also enjoys spending time up at the lake. Sam is a current student at Gupton Jones College of Funeral Science to complete his studies in Mortuary Science. He has been employed with Crowell Brothers since 2007. |

Waring Murray |

Waring has lived in the Atlanta area since 1972. He attended Georgia State University's Allied Health program, where he trained to be a paramedic. Waring retired from DeKalb County Department of Public Safety in 1997. A graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, Waring received his funeral director's license in 1998. In 2005, Waring completed certification from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service and currently holds a CFSP designation. Waring is married to Katherine Maddox and they have two children. Waring was the long-time Treasurer of the River Oak Swim & Racquet Club and is a member of Cannon United Methodist Church. In his off time, he helps in a family business and volunteers at Stone Mountain Park during the Highland Games. |
