Vernon John McRae, Jr., 61, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Atlanta, GA, died December 12, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16th at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 15th, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. McRae is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Baker. He is survived by his wife, Melanie McRae of Atlanta; son, John McRae of Atlanta; daughter, Kelly McRae of Atlanta; mother and father, Joan and Vernon John McRae, Sr. of Olmsted Falls, OH; three brothers, Jim McRae of Jacksonville, FL, Dan McRae of Beaver Falls, PA; Don McRae of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Marcie Huffer of Cincinnati, OH and Jennifer McRae of Cleveland, OH.
