Obituaries

Winnie Sue Barrett, 73, of Dawsonville, GA, died December 31, 2009.  Mrs. Barrett was a long-time resident of Norcross and was a Data Entry clerk at Abbott Laboratories in Tucker for 20 years.  She was a member of Silver City Baptist Church in Dawsonville.    Preceded in death by her husband, William F. (Bill) Barrett and grandson, Greg Barrett, she is survived by her daughter, Margie King of Panama City, FL; son, Robert Barrett of Ellijay; mother, Annie Burnett Garner of Jefferson; brother, Bud Helton of Winder; four sisters, Christine Helton of Winder, Linda Bishop of Duluth, Debra Hoopaugh of Lawrenceville, and Denise Gienger of Hiawassee; two grandchildren Brad Buice and Jodie Buice; and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Barrett and Georgia Barrett.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2nd, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross.  Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Friday, January 1st, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to: Silver City Baptist Church, 6170 Jewell Bennett Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534, (770) 889-9123.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowellbrothers.com.  Arrangements by Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Ind.
