Obituaries

Thomas Jefferson Bailey, 84, of Duluth, GA, died January 18, 2010.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21^st, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross.  Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 20^th, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Mr. Bailey was a native of Norcross and retired from Amoco with 32 years of service.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who participated in seven battles over the islands in the Pacific.  He is survived by his wife of 57 ½ years, Midge Bailey of Duluth; daughter and son-in-law, Karen & Kenny Curfman; son and daughter-in-law, Jay & Bekki Bailey; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle & Bob Head; sisters, Louise Watson and Mary Stone; grandchildren, Aaron & Natalie Komlo, Leeanne & Michael McLean, Hollie Curfman, T.J.
