Obituaries

Nancy McClure, 83, of Norcross, GA, died February 17, 2010.  She was a graduate of the Albany Academy for Girls and Elmira College.   She loved Cape Cod, sports, singing, and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She was president of the Women’s Athletic Association in both high school and college and kept in touch with high school classmates, college classmates and friends who are widely distributed.  Preceded in death by a brother, Albert E. Hawn, Jr., she is survived by her husband, James C. McClure of Norcross, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan W. McClure of Norwalk, CT, Scott & Abbe Fridge of Lawrenceville, GA; and brother, Thomas Hawn of Albany, NY.  No services are planned per her request.  She asked that her ashes be scattered in the ocean at Chatham, MA.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowellbrothers.com.  Arrangements by Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Ind.
